Gold medal winners 🇳🇿🥇
So proud to be a New Zealander! It was so good to be there to support and watch this amazing group of women athletes from both NZ and Jamaica play netball.
There is nothing better than hearing your national anthem live and then to watch the Haka ❤️

A fabulous end to some much needed time off and making our way back to Stornoway tomorrow. I actually can’t wait to get back to work.

I’m excited my sister and her family are coming home with me on Monday for a visit so I’m trying to think of all the best things to show them while they are here. Definitely a visit to saltbox sauna, coffee at the workshop, Isle of Harris Brewery, the Carloway Show…

You all know how much I love netball and today was a brilliant day to watch netball at the Commonwealth Games semi finals. Thankfully New Zealand made it to the gold medal match for tomorrow but the semi between Australia and Jamaica was incredible! Nail biting to the very end!
I found it a little sad that Australia just walked out past their fans and didn’t stop at the end. England also lost but happily had photos taken and talked to people. I have watched every game this year in the Australian super league so was excited to see players in real life but they just walked straight past everyone. Your fans love you whether you win or lose.

Now come on NZ although Jamaica has won the hearts of everyone so winners all round tomorrow. Can’t wait 🇳🇿🇯🇲
