Good afternoon folks, so for anyone who frequents our pub early on a Tuesday afternoon will have met our volunteer Dan, Dan gives his free time every Tuesday to help us get the pub ready to open.

Dan will be taking part in the Race for Life at Trentham this evening in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Our family, along with many of yours and countless others across the UK have had their lives changed forever by cancer, therefore we are proud to support Dan in today's race.

We ask for anyone within our community who wishes to join us in raising funds for Cancer Research UK to do so via the QR code in the poster, or by visiting the URL displayed at the bottom of the page.

Foundation Stone has just got back from a lovely 2 weeks in Marbella and is astounded to find that the sunshine has followed her home! 🌞

Foundation Stone 4.5% 🟡 - glorious golden IPA with a nicely balanced bitter peppery finish

Ein Stein 5.0% 🟡 - our iconic German-hopped blonde, balanced and mellow

Stone the Crows 5.4% ⚫ - deliciously malty dark ruby bitter with hoppy, chocolatey a s coffee notes all in good measure

Summer Solstice 4.9% 🟡 - new on this week! Refreshingly fruity summer pale ale

Stone Edge 4.5% 🔴 - magnificently malty full-bodied sunset red bitter

bank holiday weekend is here and the weather is looking good!
Many of you will be clearing houses and gardens of the winters waste.
We have thousands of free bags and we want to share the love.
They are hessian sacks so are very durable, I even grow potatoes in mine!
Feel free to come to the brewery and take as many as you like FOR FREE! I will also chuck some down at the pub so ask at the bar! ☀️☀️☀️

Good morning folks!

We are welcoming our friends from Stafford Morris Dancers back on Monday the 18th from 7:30pm.

It's always a good time, and for those itching to get involved after a beer or two, I'm sure the opportunity will arise 😉.

Fingers crossed 🤞🏻, the sun will be shining 🌞 and we can all sit outside and enjoy the show!

Good morning everyone, we hope you are all starting the new year off feeling fresh!

This is a quick post to remind our customers that we will be calling last orders a bit earlier this evening at 7pm.

Also - as many of you will know we typically close the pub for a few days once all the festivities are done and dusted, leaving you to start your 'dry January' 😶‍🌫️

Just to confirm dates for the closedown, as well as when we reopen:

Monday 5th Jan - CLOSED
Tuesday 6th Jan - CLOSED
Wednesday 7th Jan - CLOSED

Thursday 8th Jan - REOPENING @ 4PM (ALSO OUR FIRST QUIZ OF 2026 🥸)
