✨ WE’RE HAVING A LITTLE MAKEOVER! ✨

You may have noticed the scaffolding going up around The Ferry Inn — but don’t worry, we’re OPEN as usual! 🙌

We’re giving the outside of the pub a much-needed redecoration and freshen up, ready to look even better once it’s finished. 🏡✨

🍻 The pub is OPEN as normal 11am-9pm daily
🍰 The shop is OPEN as normal 9am-6pm daily
☕ Beer, food, drinks, cakes, chocolates and everything else are all still available!

It might look a little different from the outside while the work is happening, but please don’t let the scaffolding put you off — come on in! ❤️

We can’t wait to show you the finished result. 🥰 🔨✨

🎉 HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO US 🎉

Six years ago, during Covid, we opened our little village shop at the back of the pub to help support the village and keep the community going.

Fast forward 6 years and we’re still here — serving groceries, homemade cakes, handcrafted chocolates, plenty of friendly chats, and probably far too much temptation at the counter 🍰🍫

Thank you to every single person who has supported us, shopped local, popped in for treats, and helped us grow into what we are today.

We truly couldn’t have done it without you ❤️

Landlady Alison is taking on a massive challenge for charity… 👀

On Monday 20th April, Alison will begin walking over 90 miles coast to coast along Hadrian’s Wall Path — carrying everything she needs for a full week of camping along the way.

She’s doing this to raise money for Children’s Burns Trust, a charity that means a lot to her personally after suffering life-changing burn injuries as a child.

Everything for the walk is self-funded, so every single donation goes directly to the charity.

She has already raised over £1,600, which is incredible — but we’d love to help push that even further before she sets off.
