Thank you everyone for your feedback on our recent post.
We’ve taken all comments on board and genuinely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts, both positive and constructive.
As a new business, we’re still learning and adapting, especially around peak trading times, staffing levels and customer flow. That’s no excuse for anyone having a poor experience, and we understand that.
Over the past few days we’ve reviewed staffing levels, team responsibilities and service procedures to make sure we improve where needed. Our priority is making sure every customer feels welcome, looked after and enjoys their visit to The Roaring Meg.
We’ve increased staffing on the bar and floor for tonight’s World Cup game 🏴 and moving forward we’ll continue adjusting rotas to ensure we’re properly prepared for busy periods.
We also want to say that our team work incredibly hard, often under pressure, and we’re proud of the effort they put in every day. Like any new team, training and experience grow over time, and we’re committed to supporting them so standards continue improving.
To our regulars and new customers alike—thank you for your patience, support and honesty. We care deeply about making The Roaring Meg a pub the local community can be proud of, and we’re fully committed to getting it right.
