We are now closed for our annual family holiday and re-open Thursday 10th September.
It’s been a tough few months, 1 star reviews, negative stories in the local media etc and we are still receiving negative reviews since the original 1 star for standing up for my business.
We have received more in the last two months than we have the whole 8 years.
Today we started our family holiday to a couple of 1 star reviews - one is apparently for the Toy Story Afternoon Tea which they left hungry which just blows my mind.
The other has no context to why it’s 1 star.
Please see the picture from a customer yesterday who said it was Phenomenal - it’s one extreme to another.
I don’t know what is happening in the world today where people just like hurting a small business especially when they work damn hard to do something they love & keep people in jobs and a building open - but if I was so unhappy with a visit that warrants a 1 star I would be letting them know directly to highlight any issues to make them aware and I know we would do everything we could to change their experience.
I’m definitely biased but we are not providing a service where it’s dirty, low quality food & rude staff which is what a 1 star is - the worst place you have ever been.
We don’t price everything in for our themes including the time my daughter has sat putting forky packs together, putting stickers on boxes or Lee working into the early hours to make toppers for the themes etc.
We are holding on by our fingertips to keep our little tea room open - please remember behind this tea room are people who love it and don’t deserve this.
