There’s a lot to be said for making lemonade when a shipping container full of lemons has been dumped on you from a very great height.🍋🍋🍋

And I think this year, we’ve nailed it. By the bucket-load.🪣🪣🪣

Ten years ago today, we said goodbye to our gorgeous girl, with no idea how we were supposed to carry on with the giant void she left behind — a space that had previously been filled with her love, her laughter, her crazy banter and her general antics.

But, as it turns out, they weren’t really goodbyes. Not the forever moment we thought it was.

Because ten years later, we still speak to her and about her every single day. She’s there in the way we love, the way we live, the stories we tell and the things we do to honour her. 🪽🪽🪽

And certainly for me, I still talk to her as though she’s in the room. I’m pretty sure she’d have plenty to say back too.

This year, we decided to grab the bull by the horns in true Anna style and set ourselves a challenge: to raise £10,000 to mark ten years since we lost her.

And, also in true Anna style… we smashed it. 👊🏻

Thanks to the incredible efforts and generosity of our family, friends and everyone who has supported us, we are so proud to announce that together we have raised in excess of £15,000!!! 💥💥💥 Final total to be announced soon 🙏

Our lives changed beyond all recognition on this day ten years ago. There will always be a space where Anna should be.

But I think we can all be proud of how we’ve lived in the years since, despite our loss. We’ve laughed, loved, carried on, raised money, made memories and tried to turn something utterly s**t into something that might make a difference to somebody else.

We hope we’ve done you proud, Anna. 💕💕💕

Ten years without you, but never a day without you.
