We invited The Escapist Brew Co. to continue on a journey with us. What components make a b**r unique? What if we change them slightly with each brew? Ship of Theseus explores the evolution of a b**r, challenging what defines its identity while stretching the boundaries of what's in a name.ales Shangri-La
Session IPA brewed with Citra, Columbus, Dolcita & Mosaic.
Heavy Glimmer
A hoppy pale ale brewed with Amarillo & Simcoe. These impart juicy peach and tangerine flavours and a light piney character with minimal bitterness.

Fruitopolis
A tropical punch bowl of a Session IPA, Fruitopolis is bursting with aromas of ripe, fleshy mango, juicy peach, and a touch of pineapple & coconut. The hops make themselves known on the palate adding notes of lychee, melon and a squeeze of sweet orange adding to the mix. A gentle bitterness balances the sweetness of the b**r, leading to a clean, fruity and refreshing finish.

Lightbulb is our flagship Extra Pale Ale (4.5%) that’s remained unchanged in recipe and unwavering in character since 2015. As pale as a 100-watt light bulb, but as juicy as an IPA. Sessionable, quenching and moreish. Lightbulb has a biscuity malt base with a subtle bitterness, all drenched in fruity hops, providing that signature aroma: bright, citrusy, lifted, and gently resinous.

WHOOOOOO. We made it in at the first time of asking, we missed the cut off for it last year by a midgie's!
Nice delivery yesterday afternoon just after we opened to be told that we had made it in to this years 's Good b**r guide 2027!
Thank you all for making this little bar in Stockton on Tees what it has become over the last year and here's looking ahead to what we can do in the coming year too.

Got a few new ones going in the fridges for you this Wednesday afternoon.

Big bellini vibes are popping in this fun, fruity and super refreshing Peach Sour. We've used Philly Sour yeast to drop the pH during fermentation, before adding 600 kilos of peach puree (and some lactose, lemon zest and vanilla for good measure) - ideal for summer sipping in the sun.
Weapon of Choice: Nectaron
At Bearwood Brewing, we've taken the hard part out of the decision. Our Single Hop Series showcases some of the finest hops available, allowing each variety to shine in its purest form. So, which one will be your weapon of choice?

Crimp is our first DIPA release of the year! This 8% hop bomb is brewed to showcase big flavour without sacrificing drinkability.
Packed with Mosaic, Rakau and Nectaron Cryo, expect waves of ripe pineapple, stone fruit, passionfruit, and sticky citrus over a soft, full-bodied mouthfeel. Bold, juicy and dangerously smooth, this is everything we love about modern DIPA.
