‼️ (slight) rant alert ‼️

Today we had a lady ring the restaurant at around 1:30 wanting to pick up some Sunday dinners. We advised her we could do this for 2:15 - she was happy with that! Order placed, with only a 45 minute turn around 😁

2:15 came, then 2:20, 2:25, 2:30 and on and on and on…… no one turned up.

And yes, before you think it, we are too trusting! 🫣 We didn’t take a contact number or payment over the phone (we were super super busy).

👀 Please don’t order a dinner from us if you don’t actually intend to actually pick it up 👀 we all work our little socks off 🧦 and don’t really fancy having food wasted, and money lost. It’s hard enough in the hospitality trade as it is at the moment 😭😭

😵‍💫 so now - an apology to all our regulars that order our gorgeous roasts to take home - we will now be asking for payment before collection. Lesson learnt from us the hard (and expensive) way.


Anyways - that’s it, grumble over - happy Sunday 🥰
