We wanted to be open with our customers about something upsetting that we are dealing with right now.
We seem to have become the target of a coordinated wave of fake reviews on Tripadvisor, affecting both Vadah and NOIR D'OR and it is deeply upsetting to see the hard work that has gone into both businesses come under attack in this way.
Running restaurants is already one of the hardest industries there is. It takes years of dedication, long hours, and a huge amount of care to build a reputation that people can trust. That is why it is so difficult to see false reviews being used to damage businesses and the livelihoods behind them.
We always welcome genuine feedback, even when it is critical, because honest reviews help us improve, but false and malicious reviews do not just damage ratings, they affect staff morale, livelihoods, and the future of independent businesses.
We have already reported these reviews and concerns for investigation. We will continue to deal with this properly and professionally.
We are proud of what we have built at both Vadah and Noir D’or, and we are grateful to the customers who continue to support us.
