Brocksbushes has evolved over the last 40 years from an acre of soft fruit with a tiny farm shop which was open for 8 weeks in the year to a thriving rural Retail Centre with an award-winning Farm Shop, Kitchen, Play Barn and Pick Your Own Fruit Farm which is open all year round (Pick Your Own open seasonally)

In the summer of 2024, we opened the doors to our brand new, state-of-the-art Farm Shop, Courtyard Kitchen and children's indoor Play Barn, which means we are now 4 times the size that we used to be! The fundamental policy of Brocksbushes is to provide freshness, quality and choice in every department and to give our customers a pleasurable day out whether they are selecting their groceries from our varied and delicious selection in the shop, treating themselves in the Courtyard Kitchen, or picking their fresh fruit and vegetables in the fields they all are a part of the ‘Brocksbushes Experience’!

Daphne has been assessing our pumpkin patch today…she thinks they are nearly ready for picking! 🎃

Our Autumn Afternoon Tea is available everyday during October for those wanting to add a special treat to their day!

🎃During Pumpkin Experience days we will be serving our special afternoon tea in our Brocksbushes Pavilion in the Courtyard, offering the perfect autumnal atmosphere with twinkly lights, soft music & a dedicated Afternoon tea host! On these days, booking via our website only.

🍂On non-event days you can enjoy this afternoon tea in our Courtyard Kitchen as normal! On non-event days please call the Courtyard Kitchen to book on 01434 633100

Saturday 19th September (10am-3pm) - Northumberland Heather Honey Event 🍯

We are excited to announce that we are hosting a heather honey event with Northumberland Honey.
This is a free, family friendly event, where they will be bringing their observation hive to see the bees at work and our specially adapted bee mobile monster truck (Mercedes Unimog) along with testers and tasters of our Heather Honey Range.

We will also be offering 10% off all Northumberland Honey Jars for one day only (Saturday 19th September)

Christmas Wreath Making Workshops are selling fast!

Kate from Northumbrian Flowers will be joining us for a third year running for a series of festive wreath making workshops!

When?
Saturday 21st November (either 9.30am or 1.30pm)
Saturday 28th November (either 9.30am or 1.30pm)
Sunday 6th December (either 9.30am or 1.30pm)

Make your very own traditional moss-backed Christmas Wreath using a range of foliage grown in Northumberland, along with a selection of dried fruits, pine cones and bows.

Workshops are 2 hours long and include complimentary tea & filter coffee throughout! £65 per person.

Make it extra special by joining us for lunch or afternoon tea before or after your workshop!

Last week Rose went for a visit to see Luke at Moonshiners HQ! 🍓

During our PYO strawberry season, all the surplus strawberries get picked & hulled to avoid any fruit going to waste! The wonderful team at the moonshiners took several kegs of our frozen strawberries & are currently making our very own Strawberry Liqueur & Gin!

How exciting!!

It is currently still in production but watch the space for more updates! It just might be the perfect present for someone who loves either Brocksbushes, strawberries, gin or all three 😱!
