Our brand-new weekday evening menu launches tonight at The Bulls Head, serving from 4:30pm–8pm. 🍽️

We’ve got proper pub favourites, Littlewoods Butchers’ finest Steak Pie, Littlewood’s Sausage & Mash, Creamy Mushroom Stroganoff, our famous No Bull Burger, Beer-Battered Cod and plenty more — plus our signature sharers and some seriously good puddings. 🤤

Our Pumpkin Spiced Crème Brûlée has landed on the autumn menu — silky, creamy, warmly spiced and finished with that all-important crackly caramelised sugar top. 🍂🔥

And, of course, no new dessert makes it onto the menu without rigorous quality assurance testing…

🍴 A LITTLE MENU UPDATE AT THE BULLS HEAD…

We’re still putting the finishing touches to our kitchen, so this weekend we’re running our midweek daytime menu throughout the weekend as a little stop-gap while we wait for some additional kitchen equipment to be installed next week.

That means you can still join us for all your Bulls Head favourites (or new favourite!)— from our Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken and No Bull Burger to our Portobello & Swiss Cheese Melt, pub classics, Little Bulls and our rather fabulous desserts! 🐂

Then, once the final kitchen kit is in place, we’ll be bringing out the big guns… 💥

🍽️ FOOD SERVICE UPDATE! 🐂

We’re delighted to confirm that food service starts this Saturday! 🎉

For this first weekend, we’ll be running our weekday lunch menu all day, so you can still get your Bull’s Head food fix while we get everything ready for the full launch.

Our full Autumn menus — including lunch, evening and weekend breakfast/roast menus — will launch from next week. 🍂

The reason for the staggered launch is simply a delay to the installation of some of our new kitchen equipment. Rather than keep you waiting any longer, we’ve decided to get the kitchen open with the menu we can deliver now, then bring out the full Autumn offering as soon as everything is in place.

So, this Saturday: food is ON! ❤️
And the bar opens this Thursday at 12pm! 🍺

Next week… the full Bull’s Head Autumn menu lands. 👀🍽️

👨‍🍳 WE’RE GROWING THE BULL’S HEAD KITCHEN TEAM! 🐂

We’re looking for someone to join our kitchen team as we take the food offering at The Bull’s Head to the next level.

We’ve got ambitious plans for our food business, with a simple philosophy: hearty pub classics, with an edge of fun, innovation and food designed to be a social experience.

👨‍🍳 PART-TIME ROLE — OR AN APPRENTICESHIP?

We’re open to 2–3 part-time shifts per week, with plenty of room to grow as our food business grows.

But we’re also interested in hearing from someone who is looking to start a career in hospitality. For the right person, we’d be happy to explore an apprenticeship opportunity and help you develop your kitchen skills with us.

So, whether you’ve already worked in a commercial kitchen or you’re simply someone who loves food, loves cooking and wants to learn, we’d like to hear from you.

Experience is helpful, but enthusiasm & flare matter more.

We’re looking for someone who:
🍳 Loves food and enjoys being in the kitchen
🔥 Takes pride in what they put on a plate
🤝 Works well as part of a team
⚡ Can keep their cool when things get busy
😋 Is enthusiastic about trying new ideas and getting stuck in

For the part-time role, shifts will be a mixture of daytime, evenings and weekends, but we can be flexible with the rota. Just let us know what works for you and we’ll see what we can do.

Whether you’ve worked in a kitchen before or you’re simply someone who feels most at home in one, we’d love to hear from you.
