🐾 Jarvis – The Grey Hound’s biggest live music fan! 🎶

Anyone who comes to our live music events will have witnessed the legend that is Jarvis the pub dog on the dance floor, having the time of his life.

Now he’s 12 years old, has arthritis in his back legs and is virtually deaf, things have changed a little. These days you’ll often find him lying right up against the speakers so he can feel the bass and the vibrations. He might not hear every note anymore, but he certainly still feels the music… and the vibes. ❤️

And somehow, despite barely hearing a thing, he can still lip-read the word “biscuit.” 🍪😂 Funny how that works!

We’re so lucky to have our wonderful old boy still enjoying every gig with us. He’s been part of our pub family for so many years, and we know so many of you love seeing him as much as we do.

Our legendary Summer Garden Party returns with this year’s theme…

🌺 CLUB TROPICANA! 🌺

Join us from 2pm for an afternoon and evening packed with great food, tropical cocktails, live music and summer vibes.

🎸 3pm – Just-Harv Duo kick off the party with laid-back acoustic classics.

🎤 4pm–7pm – Open Mic. Come along, sing a song or simply sit back and enjoy some fantastic local talent.

One of the South’s best 80s Tribute Bands, guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor.

What a wonderful tradition! ❤️

We look forward to their visit every year! and they bring so much joy every time. It’s not just the dancing – it’s the camaraderie, the singing, and the way they get everyone involved.

Last year’s singalong with Louisa Revolta was a real highlight, and this year our team found themselves joining in the dancing too! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to such a warm, welcoming and inclusive group for keeping this fantastic piece of English heritage alive. We already can’t wait to see you all again next year!
