We are now closed to celebrate Dave’s big birthday today, so of course he has hung the apron up quite rightly and flown off to Italy to spend some quality time with great friends and family…

A big shout out to everyone who made this happen tnastockbridge

Our staff did an amazing job….

The sun turned the temperature up, but Stockbridge turned the smiles up even higher.

What a day Trout ‘n’ About 2026 really was.

The High Street was buzzing and full of laughter, every corner of the village had its own little story to tell.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and plenty of new ones too. Whether you popped in for brunch, a coffee, gelato, lunch or simply stopped for a chat, thank you for making Prego part of your day.

Behind every great community event are the volunteers, sponsors and traders who quietly make the magic happen. Your time, generosity and support have helped raise thousands of pounds for local good causes, and that is something truly worth celebrating.

Stockbridge really does know how to put on a show.

Same village. Same smiles. Same first Sunday in August.

We’ll see you all again for Trout ‘n’ About 2027.

This Sunday it’s Trout ‘n’ About in Stockbridge.

Step A.
Park at Danebury School. Every penny from the parking goes to local charities, so your day starts with a good deed.

Step B.
Head down the High Street and call in to the Tipsy Trout at Prego. Say hello to Team Prego, grab a freshly made pancetta ciabatta, an Italian coffee, or treat yourself to homemade Italian gelato. Who says gelato has a time limit?

Step C.
Stroll through the High Street. Browse the quirky independent shops, discover hidden treasures, and pick up something special for a friend, a loved one, or simply yourself.

Step D.
Make your way to the festival field where there’s plenty to see, do, eat and enjoy throughout the day.

Then, before you head home, call back into the Tipsy Trout at Prego for one last drink, one last smile and one last goodbye.

We’ll be waiting.

Something new to try…

🍻 Visitors to Trout ‘n’ About 2026 might fancy a quick pint at Stockbridge’s newest pub. But they shouldn’t be surprised if it makes them feel like they’ve had one too many... 😄

Because The Tipsy Trout – set up for the day by Dave and from – isn’t made of bricks and mortar... it’s completely inflatable! 🎈🐟

For one day only at Trout ‘n’ About 2026 (weather permitting!) the brilliant pop-up pub will appear outside Prego, ready to welcome thirsty visitors looking to raise a glass.

Measuring an impressive 21ft by 16ft and standing around 20ft tall with a vaulted ceiling, The Trout can comfortably accommodate up to 50 happy customers at a time. Two powerful air pumps will keep the pub standing tall throughout the day. 🍺

Dave and Mandy – Rainbow Sponsors, once again, at T’n’A – will be swapping their restaurant for a bar, as landlord and landlady of what could well be Stockbridge’s very first micropub.

And every good pub needs a doorman... 👮‍♂️

Keeping a watchful eye on proceedings will be Dave and Mandy’s 86-year-old neighbour, The Colonel, making sure everyone enjoys themselves in true Trout ‘n’ About style.

So, whether you’re celebrating a great day out, catching up with friends or simply looking for the most unusual pub you’ll visit this summer, make sure The Tipsy Trout is on your list! 🍻
