This month, we're delighted to welcome our new intern, Leah, to the team! 😃

Leah is a student at St Modan's High School in Stirling and joined us through Career Ready Scotland, working in partnership with . Career Ready is a social mobility charity that connects employers with schools, helping young people aged 15–18 build the skills, confidence, and networks they need to succeed in the world of work.

Leah will be spending four weeks with us over the summer, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing new skills. We hope she has a fantastic time, learns lots, and enjoys every aspect of her placement.

Leah has already been a brilliant addition to the team! You may even have spoken with her over the past week when placing your order, as she's been helping out on the phones. We're excited to have her with us and look forward to seeing all she achieves during her time here. 🫐

This is our twist on a traditional rarebit. We’ve replaced the toast with baby potatoes to make it a bit more substantial. Smoked haddock with leeks in a rich ale and mature cheddar sauce, served on buttery baby potatoes.
