👏 A huge thank you to the team at Blueberry Hill Meals for inviting our Property and Marketing teams to a special presentation recently.
As part of the Career Ready programme, Blueberry Hill Meals welcomed 17-year-old Leah for a summer work placement, giving her the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, develop new skills and build confidence.
The placement forms part of an 18-month mentoring programme, where Leah will continue to receive guidance and support from the Blueberry Hill Meals team as she prepares for her future career.
We were delighted to hear Leah share her experiences and reflect on everything she has achieved during her time with the business.

"It's been an absolute pleasure working with Leah as part of the Career Ready programme. From the start she has shown tremendous enthusiasm and has been determined to get the most out of the opportunities offered to her through the scheme.
During her internship she worked extremely hard and picked everything up very quickly. She wasn't afraid to challenge herself and went above and beyond what was expected of her, becoming a real asset to the rest of the team - we will miss having her in the office! I have no doubt that Leah will go on to achieve and exceed her goals as she finishes her last year of school. I have very high hopes for this conscientious, bright and thoroughly delightful young person!
For any businesses thinking of taking part in the Career Ready programme, I would highly encourage them to do so. It's been extremely rewarding for us as a business and a very positive experience for all those involved."
