Walking between the two historic attractions approximately takes 1 hour and if you have time, we'd say a definite must do to cross The Old Stirling Bridge where the 1297 battle took place. ⚔️

Many thanks to everyone at Stirling Heritage Alliance for inviting Dr Tom Christie to give a presentation on "Bannockburn Blockbusters" - the cinematic features which have focused on Scotland's Wars of Independence, ranging from "Braveheart" to "Outlaw King" and others besides. The event took place at Legends at the Monument, in the shadow of the mist-shrouded National Wallace Monument on Stirling's famous Abbey Craig.

Stirling Heritage Alliance is an independent local charity committed to preserving and promoting the history and cultural heritage of Stirling, and all ticket sales will support the work of the organisation.
