Great news — Cailness Cafe is officially OPEN again!

Thank you so much for your patience while we sorted out the safety works near the café. Our little remote corner of the world is ready to welcome you back with warm drinks, good food.

Cailness Cafe – Temporary Closure

Hi everyone,

Due to recent heavy rainfall, several already diseased ash trees near the café have become unstable and now pose a potential risk to public safety. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the café while we address the situation.

As many of you know, we are in a very remote location and operate with just the two of us on-site, so resolving issues like this can take a little time. At present, we expect to remain closed until 15 June, and we will share any updates as soon as we can.

This is Nancy, If you’re sitting outside and she comes over to see you be sure to give her some love as she has put a lot of effort to get out of bed to see you! As far as Australia kelpies go she favours naps over work.
