A bank card has been handed in that was found outside the cafe today. It’s a nationwide card, if you think it’s yours, pop in with some ID.

If you’ve seen this after you’ve already cancelled it, let us know and we’ll cut this one up.

⚽️ we’ll put it in the box with the rest
⚽️ once all teams are sold we will give you your envelope back to see which team you have. We will not open anyone’s envelopes ourselves.

48 teams = £96 prize money

£70 for the winner
£26 for runner up

If we fill all of the first one, we have another set to run another one.

First game is ok 11th June so let’s get cracking!

Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in the position we have available. I have got a shortlist of people who are coming to see me and potentially have a trial so for the time being we won’t be taking anymore applications.

Café Assistant

Location: Staveley
Hours: 16+
Salary: NMW

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a busy café environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Greeting customers and taking orders
* Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
* Serving food and handling payments
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Restocking supplies and monitoring stock
* Assisting with opening and closing duties
* Providing outstanding customer service at all times

Requirements

* Previous café, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Flexible availability, including weekends if required
* Basic food hygiene knowledge is an advantage

The soft serve ‘Mr Whippy’ ice cream machine is back! Just in time for this wonderful weather. We’ve got it all back up and running and tested it out today with a little help from Linda, she needed it to cool down!

Available with or without a Cadbury flake and raspberry or bubblegum sauce.

Available from tomorrow (Saturday) and throughout half term.
