Lady Jayne’s Tearoom is closing!

This is a very hard post to write, but it is with great sadness that Lady Jaynes Tea Room Ltd - will be closing with our final day being Sunday 29th August 2021.

We have had an amazing journey together during the past 6 years and have built many lasting friendships.

The decision to close was one of the most difficult I have ever had to make, but both mine and Heather’s lives have taken a different turn. I relocated with my hubby to Lincolnshire to care for my Mum and have currently been travelling back and forth to keep the Tearoom going. And my daughter Heather, believes she has found her calling in the Health Sector, after experiencing various volunteering roles which kept her busy during lockdown.

There will be someone new at the premises (under a different name) but still carrying on as a Tearoom and I hope you will join me in supporting and wishing them all the best for the future.

For those who have gift vouchers still to use, please make contact so that we can book you in before we close.

Heather and I will treasure the memories always. Your love and support has made Lady Jayne’s the success it is for which we will be forever thankful.

NOT QUITE BACK TO NORMAL - Following the recent 'lifting of restrictions' & for everyone’s protection Lady Jayne’s Tearoom

* The Team will continue to wear masks/visors to serve you.

*We will have the QR code on display. & a logging in book should you not have the app (please ask a member of the Team if you wish to be logged in).

*Please ring the bell to acknowledge you’ve arrived & wait to be seated.

*We will continue to sanitise tables and chairs between customers

*We will continue to only have hand sanitiser on the tables. Menus will be brought to your table when seated.

*The number of staff working still remains restricted & ask for your patience during busy times.

It may be raining heavy outside today but that won’t stop us at Lady Jayne’s!! 🌧☔️🌧Ponchos are on, ready to serve you fabulous people. Today’s homemade cakes🍰 (already sampled as soon as we opened this morning😋) are: Coffee & Walnut, Victoria Sponge and Strawberry Cheesecake. (Cherry & Coconut in the oven).

Following the Prime Minister's message last night, Lady Jayne's Tearoom has made the decision to Close (temporarily) with immediate effect. 😔

We would like to thank all of our amazing customers whose loyalty and support has kept us going.

However, both the safety of yourself and our staff is paramount and therefore until the current restrictions have been lifted we will remain closed.

(All pre-orders received to date will be honoured).
