Our annual leek show! Our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Come and support us, please bring produce to the marquee behind the pub from 9am - 12 noon on Saturday 12th September, all side entries are £1.
Produce will be judged throughout the day and then the marquee will be open from 5pm to the public to see the winners and look at the produce available for auction on Sunday.
Auction kicks off on Sunday 13th September at 6:30pm. We would love to see more people showing support.
All money raised from the auction on Sunday will be split between Great North Air Ambulance, Tiny Lives at the RVI, Daft as a brush cancer patient care and Stamfordham Primary School.

Raffle tickets are available behind the bar at £1 a strip, with some fantastic vouchers and prizes up for grabs.

Thank you to our regulars, your support keeps us going. Can we beat last years total of over £6000?

There's been a lot happening at the Swinburne arms.

A brand new pool room has been added where the old shop was, and a log burner in the back bar to keep the Guests warm in the winter months. Torrential rain flooded the building, but every ( storm ) cloud has a silver lining. New carpet has been fitted throughout the pub.

These improvements, however all come at a cost. Traditional village pubs are small businesses and as such are vulnerable. It's becoming more common for them to be going out of business and sadly once they're gone, they rarely return.

We'd hate for this to happen in Stamfordham.

So, let's raise a glass in appreciation to the regular customers for continuing to come
