Happy Friday folks. 😁.
Well the rain came didn’t it!! We needed it though didn’t we.
Bank holiday weekend again so hope you’ve got some nice plans to make the most it before lots of people head back to work and schools go back.
We’ve got a nacho special with Mama Nacho’s in on Saturday to feed anyone that fancies a tasty culinary delight with their drinks. It’s a fairly new venture for them so we’re trying to support them. From 3pm

Happy Friday folks. 😁
Fresher weather this week has been welcomed by us all. Make the most of it as summer is still in full swing.
This Saturday afternoon from 2pm we’re hosting vintage motor cycles - always nice to see our locals’ passions on parade. Mouth watering burgers are available to be purchased from roughly 3:30pm if you’re feeling peckish.
Our Regional winners CAMRA award is being presented to us on Monday 24th August at 7:30ish so please put it in the diary as we would love to welcome you all. Easton Harmony are coming down to sing outside the little inn and celebrate with us, CAMRA are bringing the mini bus and there’ll be fun, frivolity, festivity and a little food to soak up the joy of the occasion…. Open from 4:30pm as usual that day.

Happy Friday folks. 😁
What a hot week it’s been. So we’ve been decorating to stay cool and stay in doors.
Fantastic news last night as we were awarded Pub of the Season. This goes towards trying to win Pub of the Year next year. Thanks to everyone for the votes….. it means so much to us. Presentation to take place at the same time as our Regional award on Monday 24th August at 7:30ish so get it in the diary.
For now everyone stay hydrated on the last day of the heatwave. 🥵

Afternoon folks. Obviously there’s no chip van this evening but we’ve already had an enquiry about some people that are popping in and bringing fish and chips themselves from Stamford. This is more than acceptable and we welcome it with open arms.
