******This is a bitter sweet post for me.
As of Friday I handed the keys of the shop over to the new owner and starting a new chapter in my life. Due to the journey I have been on over the last year, I am now in a position where giving the time to the lovely little shop it needs and meeting the challenges I now face is proving difficult. I am unfortunately one person with lots of balls to juggle. I made the very difficult descipn to sell and start a new venture that fits better round my commitments.
I just wanted to spend a moment thanking the locals, regulars and friends who have been on this journey with me and supported me in the most amazing ways. I hope I served the local community well not just in food but a friendly face and safe space. This was threatened a few weeks ago but didn’t succeed. The strength of that little community is moving. I have loved the journey I have been on, and embrace the bad with the good and just very sad that my family commitments mean I have had to make such a difficult decision. I do walk away with new friends, relationships and connections and some fantastic warming memories to take with me in my new chapter.
This will always be a very important and special time in my life. Since I am a local myself I hope to keep bumping into everyone ❤️
