🏠 Local housing plan update 🏠
Tomorrow Labour led Stoke-on-Trent City Council is due to publish its local plan. Published as part of the cabinet papers for the cabinet meeting on 14th of July.
It will go out for a consultation after that meeting.
🙏 Last year we fought a campaign across Baddeley, Milton and Norton ward to secure our greenbelt, protect our football pitches and to preserve our identity. Tomorrow will give an indication if we were able to secure u-turns from the Labour administration. 🤞
To help inform our next steps, working with Norton Green Residents Association,KeepNortonGreen Green, Ball Green Residents Association, Ball Green FC & Keep Ball Green Green, I’ve set up the following public meetings:
📅 10th of July- Heakly Hall Farm. 19:00 🕖
📅 14th of July- Ball Green High school site: 18:00
📅 15th of July- Baddeley Edge Baptist church 18:00
I will be able to provide on update on what the Council have published and how we can respond.
🚙 Additionally I have set up a petition to get movement on the long promised weight restriction on Endon Road. I’d be very grateful if people can sign and share it. Link 👇

😊 Last year our community came together to deliver a strong message to the City Council. Our green belt is important and needs protection. Hopefully we forced them to listen!
