Thursday 25th June, from 5pm, Untamed Grill are Oak! 🔥 And it's going to be a warm one!
So, forget cooking in the heat; nip up the lane and let Will do the hard work for you...Sit out on our patio and take it all in. 🥰

Two positive things to start the week... The 1st is quite an easy one to guess! 😄

The second?... It looks as though The Great Hole of Church Eaton (circa 2025) is finally being tended to!! Yes: the gaping great canyon that takes up half of the road (and forces people to drive on the pedestrian pavement) is being fixed! And it's only taken 6 months!!! 😀

We've remained relatively tight-lipped regarding the state of the roads around here; we're not looking for any excuses or sympathy as it is what it is!! But we have somewhat been on the back-foot when it comes to clawing in new trade, or even sustaining established trade where people are simply fed up of having to damage their vehicles or genuinely can't find a route into the village!! It's been a bit of a joke, truth be told!!!!

BUT: We have continued to open and we have continued to stay positive and we have continued to believe that a time will come when improvement will come in abundance... 👊 Is this the start of a new dawn? Who knows? Will positive change reap positive rewards? We hope so! 🥰 The more we succeed, the more this pub will improve and become (I genuinely believe) one of the finest in the land! 💯

To all of you who have gone above and beyond to make it here; to all of our superb villagers who turn out in their droves; to each and every individual who has supported us and continues to...

It's an absolute pleasure to have Bev as an asset to our team, but even moreso as a friend. Anyone who knows this lady will agree, I'm sure! She really is one of a kind and we love her dearly. Thankyou to Bev for being unconditionally brilliant... we look forward to seeing you later on!
