Fresh from the market to the jar

Yesterday at Rode Hall Market, I couldn’t resist the incredible veg from Oakcroft Organics — the samphire was outstanding, so fresh and vibrant I knew it had to be preserved. I’ve just pickled three beautiful jars (with mustard seeds, fennel, cloves, and more) which will be a great accompaniment to dishes over the summer months.

Everything I brought home was irresistible and destined for more pickles later.
