Already planning for next year, so my special project, The Spikelettes, the original Pekin x Araucana Accidents, will be on their 6th Generation, and I have 2 young cockerels to choose from to run with my pullets. To try to keep the blue/green eggs I have had both of them tested for the Blue egg Gene. And, best results, they are both Homozygous for blue eggs, so all their daughters will lay blue eggs ! This is the all black cockerel, he is with my 2025 layers at the moment, so hoping for pullets from him this year. Already have chicks, and more in the incubator. And the hens he is with at present.

Available now. beautiful Columbian, and Silver/Black Pekin pullets, ( Guaranteed as Female) hatched July, so fully feathered, and running in and out. Happy, healthy little birds, who will soon get to know you. Pekins have lovely, friendly temperaments and make ideal garden pets who will also lay you eggs.

No longer available, TWO, Guaranteed as Female, Pekin pullets. Hatched 14 June. 1 Millefleur, and 1 Columbian. These are besties, and are hand tame. hatched and reared together, so must go together. I popped 2 spare eggs in the incubator with my Araucana eggs, to fill a gap, so only have the two.
Their parents and Gparents are all home bred, happy, healthy little birds who make great pets. Lovely temperament, and very pretty as well.

Last lot Available at the moment, Silver Laced Wyandotte Bantam pullets from my own bred quality hens, and a very smart young cockerel . He was hatched from bought in hatching eggs, so is a new line for me. I am very pleased with him and his progeny so far.
I am quite surprised how well these Wyandottes lay, and also the size of their eggs for a bantam. Not as broody as Pekins, and clean legged as well. Very tight feathered and with good lacing

Coming soon, already off heat, and nearly fully feathered, but still babies, beautiful silver & black Pekins. Lovely little birds, friendly, and very, very pretty. I have the Parents and Grandparents of these, and the are all very quiet, and easy to handle, even the little cockerels.
They will need a draught free coop, and a sheltered run, and age appropriate feed, ad lib. At present they are on chick crumbs as Pekins have little beaks, so I don't put them on Grower till they are older.
They may look fluffy and fragile, but Pekins are amazing little birds, and quite hardy with a bit of TLC.

Available, Araucana pullets, and possibly a Trio of Blues, approx 12 weeks old, quiet and home bred for generations. These will lay lovely blue, blue/green eggs, and as they are a medium sized bird, are very economical to keep. They also are not prone to go broody., I have not had any in 2 years

PLEASE NOTE. ST18 0RB Available at the moment, Two, white Araucana pullets, hatched April 2026, also a white or Splash cockerel for a breeding trio. There may be a few blue young pullets as well, hatched May and June 2026. These are all bred from blue, blue/green egg laying parents, and should grow into quality Breed Standard birds. Photos are of growers and relations.

As of 09/08, Available, beautiful silver laced Wyandotte bantam pullets, coming up to P O L. Guaranteed as Female. These are quality birds, with excellent lacing. Have a few In lay pullets and hens available from my breeding pens.
Several large Araucana pullets, from the blue/splash pen, and some 18 month old Silver Laced Wyandotte bantams. All in lay, but looking slightly tatty as have been running with cockerels. I have kept pullets from these birds, so know they will breed sound progeny and will lay well. Collection by arrangement ST18 0RB details please message.

Hatching eggs and a few pullets available from my beautiful Spikelettes. They are 5th Gen Hybrids from a Pekin cockerel and 2 Araucana pullets, 1 black, 1 blue, so get random colours, BUT lovely eggs as well ! I love these little birds, very easy to keep and look after, lay really well for a bantam, and such characters !!

Now gone to a lovely new home. But I have some black pullets from them available
Available, Black Araucana hens, 18 months old, laying at the moment but due for a moult as they have laid over the winter. I have kept pullets from these, and can only keep so many,
They are very well bred, but looking scruffy at the moment due to running with a cockerel( who is not available) lay lovely blue, blue/green eggs, and after a short break will be back on lay again if looked after properly. recently wormed and have multivits 2 x per week.
