The Bell is owned by Rachael Martin (known as Raqi) to many. I have been managing The Bell for over 7 years and ventured to buying it 2025. The village is at the heart of what The Bell is about. Another busy weekend for us

Open all day from 12. Food 12-2 and 6-9 we also welcome our Woodsooners for their golf dinner.

Saturday all day from 12. Food 12-2 and then tomorrow night we host Kev’s Quiz and will be offering basket food. Tables are booking up fast.

Sunday we are open from 12pm with a few early tables left and then our monthly quiz at 730pm

The last weekend of the scarecrow festival is upon us so get voting!

Food vendours, stalls, pub open, shop open, Perky Beans open and most importantly there are 66 scarecrows to go and find!

Can’t make it today…..we have more tomorrow

We have a fire engine and a lambo in the car park for the kids to have a play around!

We are serving breakfasts 10-12 alongside the fire engine being here! The pub will remain open till 7pm and be serving basket food 12-4

Then hopefully with good weather ahead we have our Scarecrow Festival!

Great Paxton Scarecrow Festival starts tomorrow from 12! pubs open for refreshments all day. Food vendours and stalls in car park!

Sunday we have breakfasts 10am to 12pm and then serving basket food 12-5 as the walks can continue!

We have a fire engine and crew from 10am to 12pm as well the fast Lambo you may have seen around the town! Bring the kids down and have a look as well as checking out over 60 scarecrows!!

We hosted the afternoon and games were arranged by Sue. People brought food and I cooked the bbq (inside 🤣🤣)

Teams are so important to me and The Bell and I loved hosting petanque this season.

We welcome more teams next season and hopefully add to the players!

A great day and a great way to end a real village weekend 😎😎😎😎
