Whilst the chef takes a holiday and we have some work done to the pub opening and food hours are slightly different!

Monday open 6pm (no food)
Tuesday open 6pm (no food)
Wednesday open 6pm (basket food 7-9)
Thursday open 6pm. Food 6-830
Friday open all day food 12-2 and 6-9
Saturday open all day food only 6-9
Sunday TBC on Wednesdays results!!

Tomorrow is the start of the big refurb

Painting the pub and dining room all the way through, replace carpet, new bi folds.

Opening hours for next 2 weeks will change and the full work will take a number of weeks as we try keep pub open as best we can!

However the changes will be worth it!

Open all day today from 12pm.

I’ve two events on throughout the day and then shall be showing the game at 10pm

Priority for seats is for villagers and regulars

The chef is on holiday for a couple weeks and we begin our refurb Monday. Food hours and opening hours will be changing as we do this. I will update Monday.

Open Sunday 12-9 and we are close to being fully booked on food.

We’re looking for generous individuals and local businesses to help make our Grand Raffle a huge success!

As we raise funds for Great Paxton United, our brand-new adult grassroots football team, every raffle prize donated will help us raise even more on the night.

Food 12-130 and 6-8 (reduced food hours due to heat )

Our children eat for £5 alongside a purchased adult meal is running.

Next week starts the refurb so opening hours will be slightly different.

Our thoughts are with Sally Moore and her children Ben and Pippa as today they say goodbye to their husband and father, Bryan Moore.

Bryan and his family are well known in the village. They lived up at the farm for many years, all regulars at The Bell as well.

I remember Bryan telling me, my sister and Bryony off when we were in the fields trampling the corn down to help them build the new houses!! I ran off and let Bryony take the flack.

Today is woodsooners golf day, something Bryan helped start. We shall toast Bryan tonight and remember a well loved family man.

Open all weekend.

Sunday we are hosting a christening and catering for this. Therefore the restaurant is closed but the bar remains open.
