We completely understand that catering can sometimes seem expensive, especially when you compare it to simply buying ingredients yourself. But there is so much more that goes into catering than the food you see on the table.
โฐ TIME โ Catering often means very long days. Preparation can start hours, sometimes days, before your event, and the work doesnโt stop when the food leaves the kitchen.

EARLY STARTS โ Fresh food takes time to prepare. Early mornings are often part of the job to make sure everything is cooked, prepared and ready on time.
๐ช SHOP CLOSURE โ When weโre catering a large event, we may have to close the shop or reduce our normal opening hours. That means losing our usual trading time to fulfil your order.
๐ฉโ๐ณ STAFF COSTS โ It isnโt just one person doing the work. Staff need to be paid for preparation, cooking, packing, loading, delivery, serving and cleaning.
๐ SUPPLIES โ Ingredients are only part of the cost. Thereโs also packaging, trays, boxes, foil, cling film, fuel, cleaning products and all the other supplies needed to produce and deliver a professional catering order.
๐ช THE WORK BEHIND THE FOOD โ Planning, shopping, preparation, cooking, presentation, packing, delivery and cleaning all take time and money.
