Something exciting, coming soon 🤩

45 years ago Cris Winter opened a well loved baked potato shop in South Street, we were fortunate enough to be with him from the start…

Turn the clock forward after a brief spell (42 years) at Ziggy’s and we are very excited to be back, opening our new venture MacTatties at 203 South Street. Headlining a huge selection of Baked Potatoes, homemade Mac ‘n’ Cheese and our famous wings from the auld place to get us started - not forgetting a nod to Kathryn’s lovely customers - coffees and traybakes.

We hope to be open early June with more to come…
We can’t wait!

Signing Off!

The day has finally come -
Tonight Ziggy’s will fall silent for the last time, probably the saddest sound we can imagine!

We say goodbye with the incredible overwhelming support, good wishes, a poem, a song and much love that we have received.

We could not wish for better customers and staff who have become friends old and new from across the world.

We go into retirement with the knowledge that if we helped make happy memories over the years that is our greatest reward.

Anyway, enough of this cheesefest!
