It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that the pub has now closed.

We gave it our all, and offer our thanks to the regulars who did support the pub, but unfortunately with the cost of energy, beer and everything else, there was just no way the pub could turn a profit without a lot more footfall.

Don't forget tonight is another charity quiz night - all a bit of fun, and proceeds this time to Cancer Research UK. Come support your local pub as well as a valued charity, and have some fun as well.

Also there's still time to book in for a place this Sunday morning for the car boot & tabletop sale - sellers set-up from 8am, buyers from 9, with bacon/sausage rolls, teas and coffees, then alcohol service from 11.

We're trying something new - car boot / tabletop sales. Whether you want to clear out some clutter or sell home-grown produce or crafts, join us on Sunday 9th July. £5 for each car or table indoors, with sausage/bacon rolls, chips and teas/coffees/drinks available. Contact us to book your spot!

Sellers setup from 8am-9am, open to buyers from 9am-12pm.
