🚨 We are hiring here at The Last Post, Ripponden!🚨

The Last Post are now in search for a hardworking individuals, with a keen interest in the hospitality industry to join their expanding team. Applicants must be 18+ and with availability on weeknights and weekends to be considered for this position.

The successful applicants will be working with a friendly, supportive team in a busy environment with the opportunity to expand their skills further. Rate of pay is negotiable and paid weekly.

Overview of organisation:
A busy dog friendly, bar, lounge bar and beer garden based in the heart of Ripponden, serving a broad selection of beers, ales, gins, wines and premium spirits. Showing all sporting events on one floor with a function/conference room hire available and live music held each week.

General duties and responsibilities:

⚡️Preparing and serving high quality alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
⚡️Ability to use a till, take orders and process payments
⚡️Checking customers identification and age verification
⚡️Engaging with customers and providing a high level of customer service
⚡️Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
⚡️Upselling beverages and snacks
⚡️Cleaning tables, wiping surfaces and operating the glass washer to ensure ample glassware is available
⚡️Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as required
⚡️Hardworking, confident and trustworthy
⚡️Strong ability to work in a team and show initiative
⚡️Experience is preferred but not essential

Day 3 - 168KM (104 Miles)

The Last Post Team and loyal customers have absolutely smashed their target of 250miles over the bank holiday weekend! 👊🏻

The stats are in, over 598KM (371 Miles) and 1772 minutes (29.5 Hours) of riding.
