The Courtyard opened it's doors for the very first time on April 1st 2015. Since then we have been welcoming customers in to relax in the beautiful historical surroundings of Southsea Castle. Tuck in to a delicious breakfast or a scrumptious lunch whilst sitting in our sun drenched courtyard. Treat yourself to one of our indulgent cakes, be tempted by our extensive cocktail menu or enjoy our famous Sunday roast. The restaurant is available for private hire and large table bookings and is the perfect venue for parties, wedding receptions, baby showers, special occasion dinners or business meetings. We are very family friendly and have a childrens menu available. Dogs are welcome during the day and can even come inside to warm their paws.

SailGP has returned to Southsea, and while the racing takes over the seafront, we’re taking a short break too!

The Courtyard Restaurant is currently closed until 1st August while the SailGP event is in full swing. We can’t wait to welcome you back for your favourite breakfasts, lunches, coffees and sweet treats once the action is over.

In the meantime, enjoy this throwback to last year’s incredible atmosphere – what a weekend it was! 🌊☀️
