Pop in and see us at The Lawrence, a traditional Portsmouth pub. We have 6 "Cask Marque" approved real ales featuring local breweries and guest beers from further afield. We stock real ciders, 6 in winter and 9 in summer. We also serve our unique "Yorkie bites & Roast dinner" menu Thursday through to Sunday.

At The Lawrence we ❤️ the traditional pub. The history and stories of the ones that came before feel like they live in the walls. When the Fifth Hants closed, we felt that Portsmouth would lose yet another historic pub, so we decided to do something about it!

It is our absolute pleasure to say that we have been given the opportunity to bring the Fifth Hants back to life. From mid October we will not only ❤️ The Lawrence but the Fifth too.
