We’ve been a little bit quiet on socials of late, there’s been a lot going on in-house and sometimes it gets a lot for one mind to then be thinking about what to post 🤯
But here we are, hump day already and getting prepped for our weekly pub quiz, with its usual start of 830pm… this really is a great night with a great host, cash prizes and free half time snacks

On Saturday we have the fabulous Fag Ash Lil back with us, starting at the earlier time of 8pm due to England’s next match….. how fab was Sundays match by the way ⚽️

So we’re still here, keeping very busy and working hard in this heat 💙💙

Last night we did something a little different at The Mallard 💙

With the weather being as hot and stuffy as it has been, a very last minute decision was made to move a 40th birthday celebration outdoors. That meant changing the buffet to a BBQ, moving the entertainment outside and making the most of the evening while we could

As always, we wanted to be as respectful as possible to our neighbours, so we brought the music times forward and had everyone back inside before dark, with plenty of time left to watch England play well 👏🏼

I have to say, it turned into a fantastic evening. It was great to see so many people popping in, enjoying the music and joining in with the party atmosphere, and even better to see plenty of people watching & enjoying from the rails and getting involved too

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a memorable night, and an even bigger thank you to my staff, my marvellous chef, and the number one tribute band in the UK… Oaces from Wigan 🤣

Not our usual setup, but definitely one we’ll remember for a long time💙
