As many of you are aware, it was our intention that Sam and I would run From Field to Feast a little later this year, starting in September. But we have had a rethink.

I had been studying alongside From Field to Feast, to become a nutritional therapist. It finally happened!!! With studying finally completed in February I have been birthing my new business, Juliana Gedney Nutrition (Juliana Gedney Nutrition for anyone who’s curious). There has been (and continues to be) a lot to do! I have realised that taking 3 months out to run From Field to Feast is not the smartest move in the context of building momentum for a new business, so Sam and I have decided to skip a year and come back to this in 2025.

You won’t hear from us for a little while, but keep your eyes on your inbox next year to be the first to know our 2025 plans. Thank you for your patience!

Until next time!

Juliana & Sam.

We love the photos that guests send to us! Every night I have good intentions of taking some photos but we get so busy it never really happens. If you would like to see for yourself, we still have availability on 2nd and 9th March. I have been lucky enough to sample the second menu and it is delicious! 🤤

Sam’s chimmichurri is herby, oily, perfectly vinegary heaven. It works with salads, meat, pasta, potatoes and most definitely generously spooned onto a crusty roll. I’ll even happily eat it by the spoonful like soup when no one’s looking 🤤🤫. We will be serving it while you wait for your starters, with some crusty bread.

A busier restaurant means more table changes, which needs more napkins and runners, and therefore a fabric shopping trip to the gorgeous . It was hard walking away with only two prints when there’s so many beautiful designs and colours. Today I will be dusting off the sewing machine to have these ready for a busy Saturday night.

What a whirlwind of a week! There has been so much going on behind the scenes as well as a soft opening and our official opening night on Thursday. The work (and stress) has been worth it though, as our restaurant is better than ever. We have been buzzing with happy customers, getting lots of amazing feedback and only clean plates to clear. Well done Sam!

It wouldn't have been possible without these two new faces in the team - welcome Harriet and Alfie!

Alfie has been working all the hours helping Sam in the kitchen, on top of his usual day job. We are so grateful for his cooking skills (and my back is grateful for his lifting and carrying skills).

Harriet works in hospitality part time alongside her main job as a pet portrait artist. She is unflappable and efficient on the restaurant floor, but also super talented - the painting she did of my dog Amber is incredible!
