This time last year! Gutted to be experiencing our first weekend closed! We miss you already!

It’s been a long hard week of moving out so haven’t had the chance to say thank you so much to everyone who showed up, helped out, worked hard and partied hard during our last week and made it such a special bittersweet time. We love you all ❤️

Sunday was our last Sunday at Sababa Southend, it also just happened to be a sold out roast day! Such a great atmosphere, great food and service wise it felt like we’d really nailed it behind the scenes, and now it’s over!

Thank you to everyone that came, our gorgeous hardworking team and to the outpouring of love to our sad announcement. Sorry we haven’t gotten back to everyone it’s all very overwhelming but we’ve seen it and we appreciate it so much.

Tonight we’re fully booked apart from later sittings so please message to claim them. Friday and Saturday are looking very busy but there’s still some space so please book soon!

Saturday night music starts at 8 and we will be here late so please stop in to say hello/goodbye and maybe have a little boogie.

Sababa Southend is closing!

We’re very sad to announce that we will be closing after the 04/04/26, our 2 year party will now be our closing night so please come and join us to drink the bar dry and say goodbye to this gorgeous spot. We will be open late.

Unfortunately we have been essentially scammed out of all of our investment. The large deposit, premium and 2 years rent were pocketed by the agent we were paying who is now bankrupt and not paid to the landlord so we have been evicted.

We are so grateful to all of our friends, family, staff and customers that made it possible for us to be open this long and helped make some great memories for us.

We currently intend to be open normal hours till then but this may vary so please check back here for updates and table booking is advised if you want to join us before close.

If you have a gift voucher please come and spend it before 04/04.

This isn’t the end of Sababa though, big plans are in the making so watch this space 👀❤️
