Thank you for your custom and giving us another great year as we go into our 86th!
We are now closed until Wednesday 14th January to give our staff some well earned time off (even if we do say so ourselves!).

It is with great sadness today that we say goodbye to our beloved waiter Andreas, aka Andros or Fans. He started working with us in 1986 and became an integral part of the George’s Family. In 1989 he opened his renowned fish bar in Merryoak and continued to keep the local community well fed! After his retirement from Andro’s Fish Bar he continued to work with us and provided a friendly and familiar face for our customers. I’m sure our regulars will fondly remember him and Kirk as being quite the double act!
Rest in Peace Fans, thank you for being part of George’s history.

We will require a £10 per person deposit for any bookings of 6 people or over throughout December.
