We caught up with Chef Patron, Alex Aitken, to find out what the smart seafood lover is ordering this October: "Poole Bay cockles are in their prime, as is lemon sole, plaice, hake and native oysters. On land we're just about to see a bounty of wild mushrooms, pumpkins and squash (although the warm summer means the harvest won't be as plentiful as other years). In other news from the water, it's been exciting to see the increase in sightings of tuna along our south west coast this summer."
