Proper roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a huge Yorkshire pudding, plenty of rich gravy and beautifully cooked meat… exactly what Sundays were made for.

Our Christmas menu is here, and this year it is full of proper festive favourites, seasonal flavours and those comforting dishes we all look forward to at this time of year. Available from the 26th November through to the 24th December.

Spiced Carrot & Red Lentil Soup, with yoghurt, toasted seeds and warm naan bread
Coarse Chicken & Pork Pâté, with fig jam, cornichons and sourdough toasts
Breaded Camembert and sweet chilli pepper relish
Beetroot Cured Gravlax with pickled vegetables, watercress and dill crème fraîche

Roasted Turkey Breast & Leg, Duck fat roast potatoes, bacon and Brussels sprouts gratin, sausage and chestnut stuffing, honey glazed root vegetables and red w**e gravy

A LITTLE PIZZA UPDATE…

As the seasons change and the colder weather starts to creep in, our pizza oven is getting ready for a little winter holiday.

Our delicious stone-baked pizzas will be taking a break from the regular weekend menu and will return in Spring, ready for those long evenings and sunny days in the garden.

But don’t panic… they’re not disappearing completely!

Our pizzas will still be available for private events, birthday parties, celebrations and functions here at The Robin Hood. So if a big pizza feast sounds like the perfect addition to your event, just let us know when you enquire.

And while the pizzas take a well-earned rest, our kitchen is busy preparing plenty of warming, comforting dishes for the colder months ahead… think hearty pies, seasonal favourites and proper pub classics.

After such a brilliant response last year, we’re so excited to be hosting two festive wreath-making evenings this December, lovingly led by 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐿𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝐻𝑜𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝒪𝒻 𝒲𝒾𝓃𝓈𝑒𝓇

Come along for a cosy, creative evening and make your own beautiful Christmas wreath to take home.

NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE ROBIN HOOD, BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT…

This year, we’re doing things a little differently and creating a New Year’s Eve celebration that feels genuinely special, without the late-night taxi scramble, childcare stress or trying to find somewhere still serving food at 10pm.

Join us from 12pm for welcome drinks before settling in for a beautifully curated seven-course tasting menu, with music and a quiz hosted by the brilliant Dean John.

Tickets are £95 per person, with the option to add our paired w**e flight for £40 per person.

And this isn’t just “a glass of w**e with dinner”…

For those choosing the w**e flight, each course will be paired with its own carefully selected glass of w**e, accompanied by a written explanation of the pairing, why it works, what flavours to look for, and how the w**e complements the dish.

It’s the kind of detail that turns a lovely meal into a real experience.

Well… whoever had the kiwi nails, take a bow. 😂🥝👏

What a lovely review to receive! From being recommended by a colleague, to arriving on a busy Monday evening and leaving with such kind words about our food, atmosphere and brilliant team, this absolutely made us smile.

We’re especially pleased the seabass, haddock and our not-so-small small Caesar salad all went down so well.

As those cooler evenings start to creep in, we think there’s only one thing for it… proper comforting pub food.

Think hearty homemade pies, warming bowls of delicious soup, rich seasonal flavours and those cosy dishes that just seem to taste even better when there’s a chill in the air.

Our kitchen team have been busy working behind the scenes, and we cannot WAIT to show you what’s coming.
