Thanks to all of the 9 families that joined us this morning for some fun!
This weeks theme was ice cream, and as you can see, we got a bit messy 😁

Our play and learn playgroup is on every Monday between 10&11am.

Some information from Southern Water, including the priority register and details of their household support fund:

✅ Small Changes Can Make a Big Difference:

As well as not using your hosepipe, other small changes at home can make a big difference in helping to keep taps flowing:

🔹 Turning the tap off while brushing your teeth
🔹 Keeping showers to four minutes where possible
🔹 Using the eco setting on your washing machine or dishwasher

🚨 Priority Services Register Customers

Customers on the Priority Services Register, particularly those with mobility or health needs, may still need to use their hosepipe during a ban. These customers are exempt from restrictions, but non-essential use should be avoided where possible.

Priority Services Register - Southern Water - Please remember our Priority Services Register is available for customers who may need extra support due to medical conditions, disabilities, age, mobility issues, or other vulnerabilities.

🏠 Hardship Fund

Hardship Fund - Southern Water - The Southern Water Hardship Fund may be able to provide:

✅ Debt write-off support of up to £3,000
✅ Grants towards essential household appliances and furniture of up to £1,000
✅ Homeless-to-Home support for white goods and essential items of up to £1,000
✅ One-off bill reductions of up to 50%

🌍 Every Drop Counts

Small changes add up quickly. A hosepipe uses 1,000 litres of water an hour – that's one person's weekly water use in just 60 minutes 💧.

By working together 🤝, we can help protect our local environment, safeguard our precious rivers, and ensure water remains available for everyone during this period of dry weather.

We often get asked how you can help us support our community.
With your kind thoughts in mind, we have created an amazon wish list. We have added products to help support us as a not-for-profit community cafe, as well as items which we can add to our food aid parcels. We have also added items we can use for our free events!

You can have a browse here: https://amzn.eu/0jbcL26u

Any purchase of any of these items will help us, tangible donations are appreciated as we can use them immediately to help sustain our services.
We will be updating our list on a regular basis, and if you have anything you would like to donate which is not on the list, please do contact us
