A few weeks have gone by and thoughts of excellent times with one of my good friends haven’t passed.
I’ve deliberated whether it was the right thing to do posting something like this through Ritrovo’s account, but after talking to another great friend recently, I have learned its better to say something than to say nothing at all.
Robbie was one of the funniest people I have ever met. Robbie was the glue that kept a massive friendship group together. Robbie’s hospitality was where I met my future wife and this has led on to us starting lovely family.
I worked on building sites in Byker with him, shared music back and forth with him for years & went daft in numerous festival tents with him. Memories I can now only cherish.
Most of all, he supported me numerous times over the years, particularly when I took a gamble starting this business - which I can only love him for.
When you hear the tunes at Ritrovo, settle into the groove, please think of Robbie, lots of them came through him… Most of all, Appreciate all of your friends & family and what they have done for you up until this day.
Kristie, Willow & Sephy, you are still in my thoughts daily.
RIP Robbie ✊ You will never be forgotten.
