Did you miss your Sunday lunch last week because of the Great North Run? Not to worry, our kitchen is open this week. We'll have our usual selection of starters, roasts, mains, sides and desserts. If you have a modest appetite, small portions are available. Similarly, if you have a big appetite, you can order extra meats with your roast dinner. Extra gravy is available on request if you like to watch your Yorkshire pudding float šŸ˜

Great news about our beloved Marine parks. Thanks to the council workers and Friends of the North and South Marine Park - South Shields for their hard work keeping the parks nice places to be.
Whether you're walking the dog, just having a quiet stroll or, even, taking a shortcut through the park to visit us for refreshment, we would absolutely recommend a visit.

Good luck to all runners taking part in the Great North Run this afternoon.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for a refreshing beverage afterwards.
Just a reminder that our kitchen will be closed this afternoon due to the sheer number of people we expect to be here. We will have our usual selection crisps and snacks if you're peckish.
