New Chapter for South Shields

❤️

After more than 50 years of serving traditional local food in South Shields, and eight wonderful years under Mandy and the Phinn family, this little business is entering a new chapter.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Phinn family for the trust they have placed in us. Taking on this business is a very special opportunity for our family, and we do not take that responsibility lightly.

When we came to this city, South Shields gave us something very precious: a home, happiness, peace and a place where we could build our family. This is our way of giving something back.

We believe that one of the simplest and most important ways of caring for people is through food. We want to serve our neighbours, look after our community and, most importantly, teach our children the value of helping and caring for others. We live by a simple motto: “If you don’t know how to serve, you don’t know how to live.”

Mandy, a very special thank you to you. ❤️
Eight years of hard work, sacrifice, dedication and genuine love for your neighbours is something truly admirable. We have seen how much heart you have put into this place, and we are honoured to take over from you.

Thank you for these weeks of training, for your patience, for sharing your knowledge and, of course, for sharing your wonderful recipes with us.

We will continue serving the same traditional favourites and the same recipes that Mandy has lovingly prepared over the years. We will do our very best to look after this place and, above all, to look after the people who walk through its doors.

Now, Mandy, it’s your time to rest. You’ve earned it. ❤️

And to our South Shields family: we look forward to seeing you from 1st September, at the same times, serving the traditional favourites of the house.

A new chapter begins, but the heart of the place remains the same. ❤️
