Dear customers and friends …

As of Saturday 3rd October due to the increased costs in heating oil, electricity and water ,reviewing last years footfall during the winter we will now be closing in addition to Saturday and Sunday , on the Wednesday and Thursday .

We are sad that we have to do this but we are one of the few lucky ones that is still going in this economic nightmare and if we have to do this then please understand

Please note that the pub remains available for private functions , meetings etc .

Dear customers …

In line with complaints we have been receiving lately,we have decided to implement a new policy where we ask customers to refrain from using their mobile phones in an anti social manner to play music,radio or taking calls on their loud speakers.

It is impolite , annoying to other customers and unnecessary.

They are” mobiles,“ in other words you can take them outside or ask your caller to call back when you are not in a public area and causing a nuisance to others using the pub. If you have earbuds you can of course use them.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and compliance,thank you .
