At oskarschaiandchaat we source as much as we can as local as we can and you can’t get much more local than Mount Airy Farm !!! But with Mays, there is an even closer connection! Both our families have been farming friends for decades, and yesterday when we went to pick up our spuds and onions, Katie & Neil had great stories to tell of years gone by and the memories they have of my Great Aunt Louie & Uncle Alan, how they supplied our family with the pigs the farmed and how they still have the tractor the bought off us in the 1980’s! We have already made our first dishes with spuds and they taste amazing!!!!!

Wednesday’s are always an exciting day for myself Justin walker and chef Kaur24 as we plan the coming weekend’s Specials menu! And get to taste them 🤤! We cant wait for you all to try this weeks tasty treats including these 3 beauties! Chatpata aloo gola, Lamb chop chaat, and Cardamom & pistachio cheesecake! And if you’re designated driver what better opportunity to wash it all down with the Dead Fruity 0% Alcohol IPA Tropic’ull from local brewery Schmaltz !!!!

Lamb Chop Chaat - Succulent Lamb Chops sourced locally from Rowley Produce - Grass Fed Beef, Lamb & Rare Breed Pork nestled on a bed of chaat, salad and oskarschaiandchaat house sauces, and topped with pomegranate seeds and fresh coriander.

Chatpata Aloo Gola - A Papdi base, fresh spicy guacamole, aloo Gola coated in panko breadcrumbs and topped with our fresh spicy salsa.

Cardamom & pistachio cheesecake- This indulgent dessert has a crispy biscuit base topped with a vanilla & cardamom filling and finished off with a sprinkling of pistachios!

Schmaltz Tropic’ull is a fruit, bright and juicy packed with mango, orange and pineapple! The flavours we feel really compliment our dishes, and at 0% alcohol means you can enjoy more than one of these tasty beauties without having to call a cab!

What an amazing night at oskarschaiandchaat yesterday! Friday night was packed full of all things awesome! This weekend we decided to showcase the best of our specials as chosen by our customers! And these dishes did not disappoint! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was divine and everyone who came was equally amazing!!! We love coming round and talking to you all sharing stories and hearing your love of Indian food and your new found love for oskarschaiandchaat !
