So, after having to close for maintenance, we’ve managed to fit in a few cheeky well needed jobs in 🧽🫧

The conservatory has had all the paintwork touched up by Harry!

The carpets have had a thorough deep clean thanks to Chris @ Peppard & Sons

If your carpets are looking anything like ours were, Chris is definitely your man! 👏🧼

We’re delighted to share some positive updates with you!

Firstly, our essential maintenance work has now been successfully completed. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while this was carried out—we truly appreciate your support.

We’d also like to let you know that Chef Dean isn’t returning following his annual leave. We’re very grateful for everything he contributed during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the future.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that, after a fantastic Wednesday and Thursday service with there pictures below, Chlo and Gemma have kindly stepped up to lead the kitchen with support from Harry. Their energy, teamwork, and passion have already made a wonderful impression, and we’re really looking forward to what they’ll continue to bring.

With everything now in place, The Plough is moving forward with renewed energy, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.

🚨 Important Update 🚨

Due to a maintenance issue beyond our control, we’re sadly having to close this weekend.

We’re hoping to be back open by Wednesday at the latest 🤞🏻. If the issue is resolved sooner, we’ll update this page and let you know straight away.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. We’re just as gutted as you are, and we can’t wait to welcome you back as soon as possible.

🚜 A Little Kitchen Update from The Plough 🍻

Well… it turns out our chef has gone and caught the dreaded lurgy, so we’ve had to shuffle a few things around.

Sadly, we can’t pinch all the chefs from our other pubs… and despite our best efforts, we still haven’t worked out how to clone them! 😂

So, The Plough’s kitchen will be closed tonight and tomorrow.

The good news? One of the pubs have come to the rescue and are lending us one of their chefs for Sunday, so a familiar face will be back in the kitchen cooking up your favourite Sunday roasts! 🥩🥔

Doors (and ovens!) will be open from 12pm on Sunday, and we’d love to see you.

P.S. Before anyone panics… the bar is staying open as normal, so there’s still plenty of reasons to pop in for a pint (or two 🍺).

Thanks for bearing with us—we’ll be back firing on all cylinders as soon as we can! ❤️

Due to the Great British Summer (who knew we’d be saying that?! 😅), we’ve decided to temporarily condense our kitchen opening today into two shorter service periods.

Our kitchen gets at least 10°C hotter than the temperature outside, so this will help our team manage the heat while continuing to serve you the best food possible.

🍴 Today’s Kitchen Opening Hours:
• 12:00pm – 2:00pm
• 5:00pm – 7:30pm

We know, we know… you’ve barely dusted off the BBQ and we’re already talking about winter. But while you’re planning beach days, we’re over here daydreaming about roaring log fires, giant Yorkshire puddings and the sweet sound of a casserole bubbling away in the oven. 🤤

So, help us settle a very important pub debate…
