Here comes the water works! Feeling a tad (ok, it's more than a tad) emotional this week. Your kind messages and coming in to see us before we close has left us speechless. We're so very grateful and humbled by your kindness.

It it with a heavy heart that Geoff and I announce our time at Industry will be coming to an end.

We have sadly made this immensely difficult decision to close Industry essentially due to the struggles we have faced with staffing.

For the last 18 months we have just about managed to keep both stores running. But to be completely honest, the staffing crisis in hospitality is brutal and we feel that we can no longer run Industry and Faculty on a skeleton team without compromising on what we envision for both places to be and offer.

That said, the past 18 months we have made some wonderful friendships and met many lovely people who welcomed us into this community.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Solihull Play Town and Combat Sports Centre for all the support you have shown and given us. We have truly grown to love the Gilmore family and feel blessed to have been given this opportunity. Another big thank you to Mia, our Saturday superstar for all your hard work and an absolute delight to work with.

To say that we are gutted to close Industry is an understatement, our last trading day will be this Saturday 1st October.

So hopefully this is just good bye for now, we have hope that staffing within hospitality will pick back up and maybe we can try again when the time is right.

Thank you for your support and know that we will miss the community and our Industry customers.

- We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience in the hospitality industry, preferably working in a brunch cafe or similar to our establishment.
- A keen attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Friendly and welcoming personality
- Wants to support and work as part of a small close knit team.
- Passionate about food and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and passionate paying close attention to detail to your work.

Requirements:
- We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience in the hospitality industry, preferably working in a brunch cafe or similar to our establishment.

- Good organisational skills.

We will be closing the store and taking the kids on a little summer break before school starts. Our last trading day will be today (20.08.22) and we will reopen as normal from Wednesday 31.08.22. Faculty in Birmingham will remain open as usual.
