As you all probably know by now, we lost our Bill on Saturday, and we are absolutely heartbroken.

We all have memories of Bill that can never be taken away. My fondest memory was when I first took over the pub. I was so scared, and he said to me, “Keep doing what you’re doing, sweetheart — you’ll do well here.” Those words have always stayed with me.

He was one of the kindest gentlemen you could ever hope to meet. I’ve shared so many memories with him here over the years, and I’ll cherish them forever.
