🙏 THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH NEPAL! 🙏
We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by our community over the past week! 🇳🇵✨
Together, we raised £102.00 in customer donations from the charity box at our bar. To build on your incredible support, Gurkha 19 contributed £143.43, bringing our total transfer to £245.43 (NPR 50,000.00).
Every single penny has been deposited directly into the Nepal Government’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to help provide emergency aid and support to families affected by the severe flooding.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, and a special salute to the Government of Nepal, the Nepal Army, and all the brave rescue teams for their ongoing efforts on the ground.

🇳🇵❤️ LET’S STAND WITH NEPAL ❤️🇳🇵
Over the years, Gurkha 19 has always tried to support our local community and many local charities whenever we have had the opportunity.
This time, I am asking you all to help me support people in Nepal who have been affected by the devastating floods. 🇳🇵💔
The recent flash floods have left thousands of people displaced and in urgent need of food, shelter and essential support. Many families have lost their homes and everything they had.
As someone with roots in Nepal, this is very close to my heart. I know that we cannot help everyone, but together, even a small contribution can make a real difference.
🙏 I AM ASKING EVERYONE — NOT JUST OUR CUSTOMERS — TO PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FUNDRAISER.
You don't need to be dining at Gurkha 19 to donate.
💷 Our charity collection box is available at the bar inside Gurkha 19, and anyone who would like to contribute is very welcome to come in and make a donation.
Whether it's £5, £10, £20 or whatever you can afford, every donation counts. ❤️
🇳🇵 100% of the money collected will be donated to Nepal's Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
If you are unable to donate, please don't worry — sharing this post is also a huge help. The more people we can reach, the more we can hopefully raise for those who desperately need it.

Dear Valued Customers,

As the festive season approaches, we wanted to share an early update regarding our holiday opening schedule.

Gurkha 19 Sleaford will be closed on the following dates so our team can celebrate with their families:

Bijaya Dashami (Tika Day): Wednesday, 21st October

Dipawali & Bhai Tika: Wednesday, 11th November

We will reopen as normal on the following days. We are sharing this early so you can plan your visits and table bookings in advance!

We’re pleased to let you know that we are currently trialling a new AI system to help answer your calls for takeaway collections and table bookings.

As part of this trial period, the AI will:
• Take collection (pick-up) orders
• Manage table reservations

For delivery orders, the AI will forward your call directly to the restaurant, and a member of our team will personally take your order as usual.

This is only a trial, as we’re always looking for ways to improve our service and reduce waiting times on the phone. Your experience matters to us, so we would truly appreciate your feedback during this period to help us make any necessary improvements.
