We're incredibly proud to have supported the Friends of Cowling School with the donation of a £40 Pitra Waterfront restaurant voucher for their 2026 Online Auction.

Congratulations to the winning bidder! 🎉 We can't wait to welcome you to Pitra, and your first round of drinks is complimentary on us.

The Friends of Cowling School do so much more than raise funds. They bring together parents, teachers, families and the wider community to create opportunities that directly benefit local children. From funding educational resources and experiences to organising events that strengthen community spirit, their work makes a genuine difference.

As a local independent business, we believe supporting organisations like this is an investment in the future of our community. Every bid, every donation and every volunteer helps create better opportunities for the next generation.

We're still smiling after the overwhelming success of our very first Skipton Curry Cruise, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support from our wonderful community.

Our launch cruise was a complete SELL OUT, and thanks to the amazing response, our second sailing is now SOLD OUT too! ❤️

The Curry Cruise is more than just an evening of great food and a relaxing canal journey, it celebrates everything that makes Skipton so special.

Two long-standing, family-run Skipton businesses have come together to create an experience that truly reflects our town's heritage. From cruising along the historic Leeds & Liverpool Canal, which has shaped Skipton for generations, to enjoying authentic Indian cuisine prepared by Pitra Waterfront, it's a unique way to experience the very best of our town.

Seeing so many people embrace this collaboration has been incredibly rewarding for both families. Supporting local businesses and creating something new together is exactly what Skipton has always been about.

✨ Our next available Curry Cruise is on 20th August, and bookings are filling quickly. If you've been thinking about joining us, we'd love to welcome you on board.
