Here I am with the last ever Skipton Deli sandwich (obviously it was a CALABRESE ONE). This week, but particularly the past two days, has absolutely blown me away, to be honest. The kindness, love and support shown by every single person who came in has been unbelievable, and as I write this, quite moving.

You all helped me live my dream and I'll never forget it. Going out with our busiest ever week (I think the queue was about an hour for sandwiches at points over the weekend 🤯🤯), makes leaving that much easier. I get to leave on a high. Thank you all so much!

As you all know by now, Saturday will be the last day here for us at Skipton Deli. However, I have teased an exciting announcement about the future of 47 Belmont Bridge, so please welcome the guys from Bean Loved | Coffee Bar! I genuinely could not be more pleased to be handing over the place to Alastair, Steve, and Wes. While they want to do something completely new and exciting with the place, I do believe we share the same vision for great food, made with the best local produce, which you will know if you've ever eaten at Bean Loved!

They have lots of exciting plans for the place, so please do keep following to see the changes and announcements on when Bean Loved Belmont Bridge will open to you guys! I honestly can't wait to see what they do with the place, and will definitely be getting myself a loyalty card when they reopen. (If you have any gift or loyalty cards, the guys have kindly agreed to honour them because of the short notice of this major change.)

Until then, please do keep enjoying the Italian focaccia sandwiches with me until Saturday, and join me in wishing the Bean Loved boys all the best for the future. I know they'll absolutely smash it, and I can't wait to see them take the food offering on Belmont Bridge to the next level!

🇮🇹 There was only one special I could do for my final week THE ITALIAN SUMMER ONE is BACK! 🇮🇹

So many people loved this sandwich, it felt only right to bring it back for my swan song.

Prosciutto, homemade garlic aioli, mozzarella, seasoned tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and rocket. Just as good as you remember!

So don't miss it! And don't miss coming in to say goodbye too! Available from tomorrow until I close the doors for the final time on Saturday.

😭 It's time to say goodbye 😭

The past year has been my absolute dream. How many people genuinely get to live their dream? And better than that, their dream turns out to be even better than they could ever have imagined? Work has never made me this happy.

And more importantly, YOU ALL LOVED IT! To see all the wonderful reviews has consistently blown my mind. We're the joint highest rated food business in Skipto on Google! That's made all the hard work worth it. So thank you to everyone who has come in and bought something or enjoyed a sandwich over the last year or so. You're the best! ♥️♥️

BUT THIS ISN'T THE END JUST YET! Firstly, there's still over a week to go. My last day will be Saturday 27 June. So please do come and see me for a sandwich and to say farewell etc over the next week or so.

And more importantly, I'm hoping there'll be some exciting news to announce about the future of Skipton Deli very soon. So stay tuned...

🐟 TWO SPECIALS LAUNCHING TOMORROW 🐟

Or should I say tuna specials launching tomorrow? One is the return of THE MEDITERRANEAN TUNA ONE on pain de mie. Tuna, garlicky and lemony homemade aioli, red onion, capers, seasoned tomatoes, cucumber and rocket on beautiful fluffy and crusty pain de mie. It's a classic and it's back!

And secondly, it's my take on a tuna melt. I reckon I've eaten more tuna melts than most human beings alive today. And I've not just made one, I've made the best one I've ever eaten. It's still got the tuna, homemade aioli, red onions and capers. But grill that on fresh rosemary and sea salt focaccia with melted provolone, and sweet lord it's just INCREDIBLE. This is THE GRILLED MEDITERRANEAN TUNA ONE.

📣 THIS IS THE COLD CUTS ONE 2.0 📣

We did a version of this sandwich last year, and it was one of the most popular specials we ever did. So, I've taken that concept and lifted it to the next level!

It's a meat feast of Salami Milano, Salami Napoli and pistachio mortadella. Onto that we add provolone, seasoned tomatoes, house pickled red onions and shredded lettuce. Garnished with homemade 'nduja aioli and vinaigrette. It's full of flavour, and it's as fresh as anything.

I mean, just look at the colours! Available until Saturday! Do not miss this one!
